- George Majerus wanted to share a little success story of his. He bought a pimped Mac Pro Cheese-grater about a year ago. It has an NVIDIA GTX980ti graphics card. Now every time there is a MacOS update he is in trouble because you can only update the NVIDIA drivers after you've installed the OS update. This means he is sitting in front of a black screen unless you have a stock Apple graphics card and you connect your screen to that and then perform the update. So he configured remote access over LAN on his cheese-grater and the screen sharing feature allows me to perform the necessary NVIDIA update.
- The MacRumours forum is a good place to look for advice here - and even gives links to the correct drivers for each OS version. There is also the InsanelyMac Nvidia updater and the MacVidCards resource, which supports newer OS versions, and also gives you the Cuda driver, which allows software like Premiere to take full advantage of the NVidia Cuda processing.

- Alec Burngo has recently bought the Aphex 500 series USB lunchbox for my Pro Tools. I can only hear sound from Pro Tools, but I can't hear sound from YouTube, VLC player etc... Can we help?
- Shawn Bizanos is new to using DAW recording and is using Pro Tools First, and is trying to get that double-kick bass pedal sound via Xpand 2. Is there even such a plug-in? Right now I have been messing around with the "hardcore" preset and can't seem to get that metalcore drum sound I'm looking for.
